House of the Rising Sun was founded in 2013 by Sam Taylor as a natural extension of his first venture, The Libertine Cocktail Bar. Inspired by extensive travels through Australia and Asia, Sam set out to create a restaurant that captured the bold, diverse flavours of the Pacific Rim. Located on Butcher Row, the restaurant combines vibrant cuisine with genuine warmth and attentive service. Since opening, it has taken diners on a culinary journey far beyond Shropshire, delivering dishes that are expressive, flavourful and rooted in global influences.
