Since 2017, The Boat has been shaped by the ambitious creativity of chef owner Liam Dillon. Drawing on experience gained in some of the world’s most renowned kitchens, including The Berkeley, Story, Noma and Eleven Madison Park, Liam returned to his hometown of Lichfield to create something personal. What began as a modest pub space has been transformed through continual renovation into a refined restaurant dedicated to modern British cooking with a lightness of touch.
