Opened in 2024 in the heart of the village, The Two Pigs combines exceptional seasonal produce with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, offering guests all the charm of a traditional country pub alongside food crafted with the care and attention of Michelin-starred chef Liam Dillon.

The restaurant joins the Michelin Guide following an impressive run of accolades. Within its first year, The Two Pigs was named among the UK's Top 50 Gastropubs and awarded 2 AA Rosettes, building on the success of Liam Dillon's acclaimed sister venue, The Boat in nearby Lichfield.
Designed as a true neighbourhood pub, The Two Pigs is a place to settle in, catch up with friends and family, and enjoy great food without fuss. The menu by Head Chef Beth Hip features everything from breakfast and brunch to generous sharing plates, classic Sunday lunches and expertly cooked pub favourites, all served alongside carefully selected drinks and a warm welcome.
In its guide, Michelin praised the restaurant, saying:
"This delightful spot offers all you could want in a country pub. The lovely village setting is mirrored in the cosy, welcoming interior with a snug bar, slightly more formal dining room and a terrace for the summer. The menu sticks to the classics and delivers them with bags of joyous flavour, from a Welsh rarebit snack to smoked haddock fishcake, pork schnitzel and a knockout trifle for dessert. Steaks from the grill or roasted fish to share are ideal for a special occasion."
Liam Dillon, chef-owner of The Two Pigs, said:
"We're absolutely delighted to be included in the 2026 Michelin Guide. From the very beginning, our ambition was to create a neighbourhood pub where everyone feels welcome and where great ingredients, proper hospitality and consistently delicious food are at the heart of everything we do. To receive recognition from Michelin so soon after opening is an incredible achievement for the whole team, whose hard work and passion have made this possible. We couldn't be more grateful to our guests for their continued support, and we're excited for what's to come.”
